IGERT International Sites Academic Internships

A unique and enriching aspect of the IGERT program is the opportunity for students to intern at international academic facilities. Currently, 15 sites have been identified which have:

  • Multiple potential advisors for the trainees
  • Good accommodation proximal to the research sites
  • State-of-the-art instrumentation or facilities
  • Staff to train the IGERT trainees
  • Host advisors comitteed to serving on the trainee's thesis committee
  • Links to other reserach groups in the host country
